Kids These Days Podcast Instructions

iTunes (download for Mac & Windows)

1. Click here to subscribe in iTunes

-OR-

1. Click here to go to the Kids These Days page in the iTunes Podcast directory.
2. Click the "Subscribe" button to subscribe to the podcast, or download individual episodes by clicking the "Get Episode" buttons

To listen to the Kids These Days podcasts once you've subscribed,

1. Choose "Podcasts" from the iTunes sources panel on the left. (If you do not see a "Podcasts" item, make sure you have not disabled podcasts in the iTunes Preferences, under the "Parental" tab.)
2. Find the "Kids These Days" podcast in the list, and click the arrow at the left to show all the episodes.
3. Double-click an episode to listen to it. Click the "Get" button next to gray episodes to download them. Click the "i" icon at the right to get more information about each episode (see screenshot).

iPodder (download for Mac/Windows)

1. Click the "Subscriptions" tab, then click the "Add New Feed" toolbar button.
2. Enter http://alaskaice.org/radio_podcast.php in the "URL" box. (You may leave the "Title" box empty.) Click "Save".
3. Click the "Kids These Days" podcast, and in the episode panel at the bottom of the window, check the box next to the episodes you wish to download (see screenshot).
4. Click the "Check for New Podcasts" button (see screenshot). The selected episodes should begin downloading. You can monitor the download progress in the "Downloads" tab.
5. Episodes will be downloaded to the folder specified in the iPodder preferences. You can play them in any program that can play MP3 files.

iPodderX (download for Mac/Windows)

1. Click the "Add New Subscription" button at the top-left of the window.
2. Enter http://alaskaice.org/radio_podcast.php in the "Subscription URL" box. You may leave the "Title" box blank. Click the "Add" button.
3. "Kids These Days" should appear in the sidebar. Click it to view the list of episodes (see screenshot).
4. Click on an episode to view its description. In the top-right pane the associated MP3 file is displayed. Click the downward-pointing download arrow next to the file icon to download it, or click the icon to preview the show (see screenshot).
5. Episodes will be downloaded to the location specified in the iPodderX preferences.
