Kiita Center students celebrate second annual Inuit Day
The second annual Inuit Day, celebrated at Kiita Learning Community with storytelling by elders, was held on Nov. 7, 2007. Students and staff had been invited to wear traditional clothing for the day, which began with a gathering to hear stories by elders Kenneth Toovak and Sadie Rexford.

Training of Promoters and Storytellers (TOPS) in Barrow
32 adults and teens met for two days in Barrow, on July 22 & 23 to remember the power of assets in the lives of young people. These people represented the villages of Barrow, Atqasuk, Anaktuvuk Pass, Wainwright, Point Hope, Kaktovik, and Point Lay.
